MPCE Partners with the International Peace Museum

The Museum of the Peace Corps Experience (MPCE) is pleased to announce a new collaboration with the International Peace Museum in Dayton, Ohio.  MPCE has been invited to develop an exhibit to be featured as part as part of their Season of Non-Violence program held each year.

A Season For Nonviolence encompasses the 64 calendar days between January 30 and April 4, 2025, the commemorative dates of Mahatma Gandhi’s and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassinations. It is a national educational campaign dedicated to demonstrating that non-violence is a powerful way to heal, transform, and empower our lives and our communities.

This collaboration will allow MPCE to share the collection with new audiences and honor the quarter-million Americans who dedicated their time and skills to improve the lives of others around the globe as Peace Corps Volunteers.  We are eager to work with the International Peace Museum to spread the principles of nonviolence in order to create a more inclusive, understanding, and compassionate society.

We Need Your Support!

MPCE believes that American audiences need greater opportunities to engage with peace education.  Will you help us?
