The Museum of the Peace Corps Experience (MPCE) is pleased to welcome Ross M. Talbot to its Board of Directors.
A Returned Peace Corps Volunteer who served in Moldova from 2010 to 2012, Ross brings more than fifteen years of executive leadership in construction management, infrastructure delivery, and organizational governance. Throughout his career, he has led multidisciplinary teams, managed capital programs valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars, and built partnerships across the public and private sectors to deliver complex projects with precision, accountability, and long-term impact.
Ross recently joined CBRE as Head of Projects, where he leads complex capital and infrastructure initiatives for one of the world’s leading commercial real estate and project management firms. Prior to joining CBRE, he served as Department Manager for Construction Management at Port Houston, overseeing one of the nation’s largest maritime capital improvement programs. His expertise spans project delivery, organizational leadership, stakeholder engagement, budgeting, risk management, and strategic planning.
Ross credits his Peace Corps service with shaping both his worldview and his approach to leadership. While serving with Moldova’s Northern Regional Development Agency, he supported community development and infrastructure initiatives designed to strengthen local economies and improve transportation systems. That experience reinforced his belief in service, cross-cultural collaboration, and community-centered development—principles that continue to guide both his professional career and volunteer leadership.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Ross serves on the Board of Directors of the American Institute of Constructors, where he helps guide organizational strategy, fiduciary oversight, professional development, and member engagement.
As a member of the Museum’s Board of Directors, Ross will also work closely with the Operations Team, helping strengthen organizational systems and operational planning. His experience managing large-scale projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, mitigating risk, and overseeing complex logistics will be especially valuable as the Museum develops traveling exhibitions and expands its national programming.
“My Peace Corps experience fundamentally shaped the way I think about leadership, service, and community,” said Talbot. “The Museum preserves stories that deserve to be remembered, shared, and celebrated. I’m honored to join the Board and contribute my experience in project management and organizational leadership to help the Museum continue growing its national impact.”
Zack Klim, Executive Director of the Museum of the Peace Corps Experience, welcomed Ross’s appointment.
“As the Museum continues to grow, our operations must grow with it,” said Klim. “Ross has spent his career delivering extraordinarily complex projects on time, on budget, and in partnership with diverse stakeholders. Those same skills are essential as we develop traveling exhibitions, steward our collections, and build the operational systems that will support the Museum’s long-term success. We are thrilled to welcome Ross to both the Board and our Operations Team.”
Ross holds an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Construction Science and Management from Clemson University, and a Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University.
Ross and his wife, Cecelia, celebrated their marriage in spring of 2026, surrounded by family and friends. The Museum extends its warmest congratulations and is delighted to welcome Ross to the Board as he begins this exciting new chapter in both his personal and professional life.
Outside of work, Ross enjoys running, strength training, traveling, attending live sporting events, and visiting family in Argentina and Switzerland.
